 Installation Supervisor


Objective:

To ensure the efficiency and work quality of our crews in the field. This is accomplished through training, close supervision and the coaching of project efficiency. A strong focus on completing projects on time will require an Installation Supervisor to work on-site regularly to ensure projects meet target labor hours.

Secondary Functions:

  • Assistance on scheduling crews based on project type
  • Meet with subcontractors for special projects when necessary
  • Collaborate with Coordinators/Installation Manager to adjust for absent technicians
  • Conduct pre-installation visits with clients
  • Ensure project debriefing is performed
  • Maintain awareness of call backs/warranties
  • Work in conjunction with Coordinators and Installation Manager for return visits
  •  Confirm delivered equipment
  • Perform/delegate installation warranty calls
  • Ensure technician upkeep of company vehicle
  • Other tasks as requested by the Management Team


 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises installation crews (its members and company vehicles).   


Work Environment

The requirements of this position require participation in a variety of work-space environments (I.e, job sites, warehouse, office setting, etc.)


Conditions:

The Installation Supervisor will be required to communicate with employees from all departments daily while upholding a high standard of professionalism. All interactions must reflect the core values of Lawrence Air Systems, Inc. regardless of location or circumstance.

The physical demands for this position are high. Must be able to occasionally lift equipment and/or parts 50 pounds or greater. Must be able to withstand the physical requirements of the position and adapt to changing environments.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Office business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:00pm, however this position requires attendence 7:30am- through 4:00pm. Supporting crews and completion of projects may require working beyond 4:00pm. Occasionally, weekend projects may be required. This postion will provide a 40 hour work week with the option for overtime. 


Travel

The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for the upkeep of their company vehicle and those being utilized by their assigned crews. In addition, said installation supervisor will promise to abide by enforced motor vehicle laws and will ensure safe operation of vehicles when in use. Unsafe operation or misuse of company vehicles may result in termination.

  • Technical school diploma
  • 3 years field experience
  • EPA certifications
  • Journeyman Refrigeration License, PJF License
  • Ability to multitask

  • Ability to maintain safe operation of company vehicles

 Installation Technician

 

Objective:

The basic function of the Installation Technician is to professionally install HVAC equipment assigned by the Installation Coordinators, Supervisor and Manager for both residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities will include maintaining the quality of work to acceptable company standards, completing tasks in a timely manner and representing the company in a qualified manner.



Primary Functions:

  • The ability to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, lift, and work in diverse temperature ranges and in high or enclosed spaces, and outside in various weather conditions
  • Efficient and effective response to customer installation and equipment needs
  • Install a variety of heating & cooling residential and commercial equipment
  • Adhering to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order forms, dispatch/job notes, etc.)
  • Follow scheduling direction from manager, supervisor and coordinators
  • Keeping the coordinator informed as of job statuses
  • Log equipment information into scheduling software
  • Take and send pictures to office staff of equipment as needed
  • Communicate with Warehouse staff about parts and/or equipment needed for job sites

 

Secondary Functions:

  • Maintain a neat appearance and neat upkeep of company vehicle
  • Attend scheduled training classes and seminars as required by management
  • Maintain company sales promotions and pricing updates
  • Responsible for having all minimum required stock on truck at all times
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and company technologies
  • Other tasks as delegated by the Management team

Service Technician


Objective:

The basic function of the service technician is to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems. The Service Technician is responsible for performing those operations as assigned to them by the Service Manager, Service Coordinator and/or Maintenance Coordinator. They are responsible for maintaining the quality of their work up to acceptable company standards and for representing the company in a manner that promotes good relations.


   

Primary Functions:

  • The ability to climb, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, lift, and work in diverse temperature ranges and in high or enclosed spaces, and outside in various weather conditions
  • Efficient and effective response to customer service and maintenance needs
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment properly at a customer’s location
  • Diagnosing and repairs recommended to be completed without call-backs
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to company standards and customer requirements
  • Adhering to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order forms, dispatch/job notes, etc.)
  • Follow scheduling direction from manager and coordinators
  • Keeping the coordinator informed as of job statuses
  • Quote recommend repairs
  • Collect payment for quoted and invoiced services rendered
  • Stay up to date of all company sales promotions and pricing
  • Secondary Functions:
  • Maintain a neat appearance and neat upkeep of company vehicle
  • Promotion of Annual Maintenance Program
  • Forwarding recommended system replacements to design team
  • Perform system replacements when needed
  • Attend scheduled training classes and seminars as required by management
  • Maintain company sales promotions and pricing updates
  • Responsible for having all minimum required stock on truck at all times
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and company technologies
  • Other tasks as delegated by the Management team

Annual Maintenance Program Coordinator


Summary/Objective:

The basic function of the Annual Maintenance Program Coordinator is to proactively grow, track, and manage all customers with maintenance memberships; this includes new memberships, renewal memberships, and memberships generated from the service, install, and sales departments for both residential and commercial properties within our service range.
   

Primary Functions:

  • Answer service/maintenance phone calls.
  • Create and manage a profitable and efficient schedule of maintenance calls for our technicians.
  • Communicate the benefits of the maintenance program with inquiring customers via phone and email.
  • Enter new maintenance memberships into the computer from service enrollments.
  • Enter new maintenance memberships into the computer from sales and new installations.
  • Renew all expiring maintenance memberships.
  • Process all payment types for renewed or new memberships.
  • Schedule all maintenance visits for both the cooling and heating seasons.
  • Manage commercial and large maintenance contracts.
  • Manage and update scheduled, need to be scheduled, and complete maintenance visits on tracking software.
  • Send out maintenance appointment reminders for customers who are enrolled.
  • Contact customers whose agreements have expired and seek their renewal.
  • Send out monthly membership Quotes to expiring customers.
  • Send out Quotes to customers who express interest in the maintenance program.
  • Track and manage customers who are enrolled in monthly payment plans for memberships.

 

 

Secondary Functions:

  • Assist with coordinating technician schedules for service calls.
  • Follow up with customers who did not enroll in the maintenance program at the initial service call.
  • Initiate and implement new processes to grow the maintenance program
